Hey everyone! I’m originally from Richmond, California. After a short stint as a grocery bagger in high school, I decided to enlist in the U.S. Air Force. During this time I was a Jet Engine Mechanic and a Flight Engineer. Since I grew up competing in wrestling, when the opportunity came to be able to coach, I jumped at it! I became the Head Coach of the Varsity Wrestling team at Desert High School on Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California for 4 years. My final military assignment landed me in Germany in 2015. In December of 2019 I retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. When it came time to choose a new career path I decided to follow my dream of owning/operating a CrossFit gym. From that was born Teutonic CrossFit!
- When and where did you first start CrossFit? I first started at Monster CrossFit in Lancaster, California in 2015. I was hooked immediately.
- Why do you coach? There are too many reasons to list, but my favorite thing is being a part of peoples journey to improve themselves. The happiness they find in overcoming obstacles makes my day!
- Got any hobbies? Hanging out with my 3 crazy kids, Bonnie, Mickey, and Harper. When I have the time I also referee High School Wrestling for DOD schools in Europe.
